We will
be adding to the list of languages and countries.
When a
language is the native language in more than one country, we
will try to get a least a few of the countries on-line.
- If you
are going to do business with or travel to a specific
country or region, you might want to pick that region.
-
Contrary to what many people think, Spanish correctly spoken
does not vary that much from country to country. The
grammar does not change. Castilian Spanish (Spain)
pronunciation is different than Latin American Spanish.
However, there is not that much difference between the
countries in Latin America.
-
Vocabulary and pronunciation do change, but vocabulary and
pronunciation can change from one region of a country to
another. Just think about the regional differences in the
U.S. What does change is the educational level of the
person speaking the language, which influences the
pronunciation and vocabulary. All instructors are well
educated native speakers.
-Language lessons from some countries are less expensive
than others. It does not mean instruction is inferior. It
is about the standard of living in the country.
- If you
are taking the lessons to be able to better communicate with
people from one particular country, do not worry about
selecting “the wrong country.” The vocabulary you will need
for your particular profession might be a bit different –
but not that different. Immigrant groups in different areas
frequently have their own vocabulary words that you will
have to learn anyway; they do not appear in a dictionary.
It is really easy to adapt, once you have the grammar and
the correct proper pronunciation.
